The Purposes and Tasks of CIFEWAC
To enhance understanding, mutual learning, and integration of Eastern and Western art and culture through academic research and cultural exchange. - To foster cross-cultural dialogue between academia and the cultural sector, promoting academic research and knowledge sharing of Eastern and Western cultures.
- To provide an open academic platform supporting research, publications, and educational projects in related fields.
- To encourage diversity in Eastern and Western art and culture through academic conferences, seminars, and other scholarly activities.
- Organize academic research, seminars, forums, and lectures related to Eastern and Western art and culture.
- Promote and support academic publications and research projects in the field of Eastern and Western art and culture.
- Provide a platform for members and scholars to foster interdisciplinary and cross-cultural research collaboration.
- Host exhibitions, art festivals, and cultural events to promote the display and dissemination of Eastern and Western art and culture.
- Encourage the education and promotion of Eastern and Western cultures, especially in fostering cultural understanding and coexistence within Canada’s multicultural environment.
