Slices or Experience No.1 depicts a world already fragmented. Images drawn from different civilizations, histories, and visual traditions coexist as irregular slices, visible yet disconnected, resisting a unified narrative. At the center, the infant remains outside the act of division, quietly placed among these fragments. The scattered masks no longer refer to a specific event but form a residual environment—evidence that the world has been segmented before life enters it. Here, “experience” is not produced by the subject, but exists as pre-formed slices that precede individual consciousness.
