A Professor at the School of Fine Arts and Design, Hebei Normal University, and Graduate Supervisor.
He serves as a National Committee Member of the Design Committee of the China Packaging Federation, Executive Member of the Special Committee on Rural Art Development of the National University Alliance for Rural Revitalization, and Deputy Director of the Teaching Steering Committee for Design Programs of Higher Education Institutions of Hebei Province.
He is also the Program Director of the National First-Class Undergraduate Major in Visual Communication Design, a Member of the 13th CPPCC Hebei Provincial Committee, and a Representative of the 14th and 15th People’s Congress of Shijiazhuang City.

His professional focus lies in visual design, brand design education, research, and creative practice.
He has been recognized multiple times as an Outstanding Educator and “Three-Education” Role Model at both university and faculty levels, and has received honors such as the “Pioneer of China’s Design Industry” Award from the Design Committee of the China Packaging Federation.

He has published six monographs and textbooks, including Layout Design and Typography Design, and co-authored the Fine Arts textbook, which received the First Prize of the National Textbook Construction Award (First Edition).
He has presided over or participated in nine research projects at the national and provincial levels, including those funded by the National Art Fund and the Hebei Provincial Social Science Fund.

His representative design projects—such as Baixiaole and over 60 other branding and service design works—are widely implemented across urban and rural regions.
He has designed for major enterprises including “Six Walnuts” (annual sales exceeding 14 billion RMB) and the “Jiantou Fumei International” project (worth over 5 billion RMB).
His works have been exhibited and awarded at major national and international design events, including the Gwangju Design Biennale (Korea).

Over 20 papers and design works have been published in professional journals such as Fine Arts and Decoration.
He has also curated and organized influential national design activities, including the Design China 40×40 Poster Invitational Exhibition and the 30th National Design Master Class.

河北师范大学美术与设计学院教授、硕士生导师，中国包装联合会设计委员会全国委员，乡村建设高校联盟乡村艺术建设专项委员会常务委员，河北省高等学校设计类教学指导委员会副主任，国家级一流本科专业建设点视觉传达设计专业负责人。政协河北省第十三届委员会委员，石家庄市第十四、十五届人大代表。

他主要致力于视觉设计、品牌设计教学、科研与创作。多次被评为校、院先进工作者和“三育人”先进个人，获中国包装联合会设计委员会“中国设计事业先锋人物奖”等荣誉称号。代表成果有《版式设计》、《字体设计》等6部著作和教材，参编《美术》教科书荣获首届全国教材建设奖一等奖；主持、参与完成国家艺术基金、河北省社科项目等9项省部级以上课题；设计作品“白小乐”等60余项社会服务项目广见于城乡，服务企业“六个核桃”年销售达140亿以上，“建投·福美国际”项目额超50亿元，作品参加韩国光州设计双年展等国内外设计大展并获奖；论文及作品20余篇（件）发表于《美术》《装饰》等专业核心期刊；策划组织《设计中国40x40海报邀请展》《第30届全国设计大师班》等全国性设计活动。
