画家除了精研画艺，对书法用功亦深，特别是小楷临习最多，早年写瘦金书，后学倪瓒，尔后对敦煌写本“大般涅槃经”、“地藏十轮经”进行了深入研习，画家长年坚持读书，习字，不同修养齐头并进，并善于思索揣摩，进而形成了独特的个人面目。

In addition to being a master of painting, the artist has also dedicated significant effort to the study of calligraphy, with a particular focus on the meticulous practice of small regular script. In the early years, the artist practiced writing in a condensed style known as "shoujinshu," later studying the works of calligrapher Ni Zan. Subsequently, there was an in-depth study of Dunhuang manuscripts such as the "Mahaparinirvana Sutra" and the "Ten Wheels Sutra of Ksitigarbha," demonstrating a profound engagement with calligraphy.

The artist has consistently maintained a rigorous routine of reading and practicing calligraphy, balancing artistic and calligraphic pursuits. Through persistent reflection and contemplation, the artist has cultivated a unique and distinctive personal style that seamlessly integrates both disciplines.
