“岁朝”（Suichao），是指一年的开头，也就是指的春节。“清供”（Qinggong）就是陈列的清雅器物。岁朝清供，顾名思义是正月初陈设于案头的清雅物件，给烟火味正浓的春节增添了几分雅趣。

梅花代表五福（五瓣），瓶子代表平安，牡丹代表富贵，水仙代表春天，如意代表事事如意，橘子代表吉利，佛手代表护佑，寿石、灵芝，代表长寿。
