慈航，谓佛菩萨以慈悲之心度人。南朝萧统诗有“法輪明暗室，慧海度慈航”  

Ci Hang (Compassionate Navigation), refers to the Buddha and Bodhisattvas using their compassionate hearts to save people. Xiao Tong from the Southern Dynasties wrote in a poem: "The Dharma wheel illuminates the dark room, the ocean of wisdom crosses with the compassionate navigation."
