Yuxiu Shan 单玉秀
Xiuyu Shan is a Chinese painter currently based in Dashiqiao, Liaoning Province. She serves as a council member of the Haicheng Academic Development Association for Chinese Painting and Calligraphy and is a specially appointed painter at the Northern Painting Academy.
A 1992 graduate of Anshan Normal College in Liaoning Province, Shan embarked on a career as a full-time independent painter the following year. For over three decades, she has remained devoted to her art, combining refined brushwork and a deep mastery of traditional techniques with an ability to infuse her paintings with the vitality of nature and the emotions of daily life. Specializing in capturing the poetic charm of mountains and rivers through the seasons as well as the vigor of blossoms and trees, her works are celebrated for their fresh elegance and profound artistic conception. They have been widely recognized in the art community and have frequently been selected for major national exhibitions.

单秀玉，中国画家，现居辽宁省大石桥市。海城市中国书画学术发展研究会理事、北方画院特聘画家。
1992年毕业于辽宁省鞍山市师范学院，翌年起投身自由职业画家之路。三十余载笔耕不辍，她以细腻的笔触和深厚的传统功底，将自然的灵韵与生活的情感融入画面，尤善描绘山川四季的诗意与花木生机。其作品常以清新雅致的格调和深远的意境赢得业内赞誉，并多次入选全国重要美术展览。
