"Art is the peak" signifies that art is not only the pinnacle of skill, but also the ultimate experience of the soul; "Only the heart can ascend" emphasizes the insight that comes from within — from the mind and spirit.
This exhibition aims to explore the aesthetics of "modernity and contemporaneity" through a dual-city open call in Beijing and Toronto, creating a platform for dialogue among artists and scholars, enterprises, and collectors from both East and West. The exhibition spans three major halls — the Introductory Pavilion, the Thematic Pavilion, and the Selected Works Pavilion — and features a “twin peaks” mountain backdrop for the opening ceremony, highlighting both the international dynamism of art and its philosophical symbolism.
“艺术为峰”意指艺术不仅是技艺的巅峰，更是心灵的极致体验；“唯心可达”强调内心与精神的启示。
本展旨在以“现代性与时代性”为审美指向，通过北京与多伦多双城征集，搭建东西方艺术家与学者、企业、藏家对话平台。展览贯穿三大展厅（序馆、主题馆、精品馆），并以“双峰”山体背景配合开幕式，彰显艺术的国际张力与哲学意象。

- Organizers: Canadian Institute For Eastern Western Art & Culture, YM Art Gallery
- Venue: YM Art Gallery (Unit 13, 100 West Beaver Creek Rd, Richmond Hill, ON, Canada, L4B 1H4)
- Call for Artists: Open to Global Submissions
- Eligibility: Open to individuals with a certain level of artistic skills. No restrictions on nationality, gender, age, or artistic style.
- Artwork Categories: Chinese painting, calligraphy, oil painting, acrylic painting, printmaking, watercolour, sculpture, photography, AI-generated creative painting, etc.
- Membership: Artists whose works are selected will automatically become members of CIFEWAC for 2025 (membership fee waived).
- Catalogue: All exhibited works will be featured in a printed catalogue (CAD 40 for members). Please reserve with your submission.

Exhibition Requirements:
- All artworks must be framed (except sculptures and unframed hanging scrolls).
- Chinese paintings: maximum 8 feet in length.
- Canvas paintings: maximum 60 inches. If gallery-wrapped and 1.5 inches thick, no extra frame is needed.
- Chinese paintings and calligraphy (scrolls, mounted works, bare rice paper) must be framed. Framing can be done by YM Art Gallery after shipping. Standard frame prices available at this link (20% off for exhibition).
- Frame rentals available at 30% of original price.

- 除雕塑、立轴作品外，其他均需装裱（邮寄作品可由雁鸣美术馆装裱）
- 作品尺寸：国画不超过八尺；帆布油画不超过60吋
- 油画布如为画廊包边（厚度1.5英寸），可不另加外框
- 中国画及书法：横轴、镜片、裸宣纸需装裱。标准装裱价格见 官网（展览8折优惠）
- 亦可租用画框，租金为原价30%
