Xinghua Zhu 朱兴华
Born in Cangzhou, Hebei Province, in 1958, [the artist] graduated in 1982 from the Department of Chinese Painting, Hebei Normal College of Fine Arts (now Hebei Normal University), majoring in traditional Chinese painting.
After graduation, he remained at the university to teach and later served as Dean of the School of Fine Arts at Hebei Normal University, Professor, and Master’s Supervisor. He is a member of the China Artists Association, President of the Hebei Gongbi (Meticulous Painting) Society, and a Provincially Recognized Outstanding Expert.
His works have been selected for the 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 13th, and 14th National Fine Arts Exhibitions, winning the Excellence Award at the 8th and the Bronze Award at the 10th.

Hua Tuo’s Five-Animal Exercises received the Gold Award at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Fine Arts Conference.

The Four Heroes of Cangzhou won the Silver Award at the 1990 Beijing Asian Games Fine Arts Exhibition.

His works were also included in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 5th National Painting Academy Biennales.
He has published more than ten painting albums and has conducted numerous lectures and cultural exchanges overseas.
1958 年出生于河北省沧州市， 1982 年大学夲科毕业于河北师范学院美术系国画专业。 毕业后留校任教，曾任河北师范大学美术学院院长，教授，硕士研究生导师，中国美术家协会会员， 河北工笔画学会会长，省管优秀专家。作品入选苐七，第八，苐十，茅十 一，苐十三，苐十四届全 国美展，其中苐八届获优秀奖，苐十届获铜奖。作品《华佗五禽戏》获 2008 年北京奧运会美术 大会 金奖。作品《沧州四俠》获 1990 年北京亚运会美术大会铅奖。作品入选苐一，苐二，苐三，苐五届 全国画院双年展。出版十余种画集，多次海外讲学和交流。
