Sam Hashem Altakawy
Professional Artist of Painting & Sculpture
Hashem Altakawy is a visual artist, illustrator, and architectural plaster mold designer. Trained at the Tehran School of Visual Arts, he began teaching during his studies—an early milestone in his artistic career. Prior to moving to Canada, he practiced professionally for more than six years. In Toronto, he quickly established himself within the arts community and opened a gallery in Yorkville in 2000.
Liao Wanning
Professional Artist / Instructor
Member of the SCA, Portrait Society of America, OPA, and AAPL. Recipient of the Tagethe Figurative Art Award (Spain), El Greco Art Award (Barcelona), INNOART Silver Award, and semi-finalist in the ARC International Salon. Certified Art Examination Supervisor in China. Known for expressive figurative work and a refined international perspective, with strong teaching experience.
Liang Gang
Professional Artist / Professor
Member of the SCA, Portrait Society of America, OPA, and AAPL; finalist in the 97th AAPL Grand National Exhibition. Trained in Chinese painting and advanced oil painting studies at Xi’an Academy of Fine Arts. Former instructor at Xi’an International Studies University, specializing in structural drawing and contemporary art practice. His teaching integrates drawing fundamentals with Chinese painting, watercolor, and oil painting, emphasizing solid artistic foundations and expressive capability.
