One Flower, One World

The work is based on the court style of the Two Song Dynasties, avoiding its opulence while embracing its precision and rigor. It also incorporates elements of the Yuan dynasty's ink floral and bird painting style, resulting in a composition that is fresh, serene, and imbued with a sense of concentrated spirit and restrained intent. Each flower and leaf of the lotus is subtly profound, mysterious, yet dignified and sacred, evoking a sense of inner purity in the viewer.

Wu Zhetong was born in 1978 in Chao’an County, Guangdong Province. He graduated from the Fine Arts Department of South China Normal University in 2003 with a bachelor's degree. He is a member of the Guangdong Artists Association and a contracted painter at the Foshan Institute of Art Creation & Foshan Painting Academy. He also serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the Academic Committee at the Foshan Institute of Art Creation & Foshan Painting Academy.

作品以两宋院体为本，避其富丽，取其精严。又掺入元人墨花墨禽一路，清新静净而神凝意敛。莲花的一花一叶，幽微玄妙而又宝相庄严，观之能生清净心。
