In And the Elephant 4, the human figure and the elephant stand side by side, facing a blurred, unmarked space. The elephant’s mass remains calm and grounded, while the human body appears fragile and exposed, yet neither dependence nor confrontation is implied. No action unfolds; their relationship is suspended in a delayed coexistence. A veil of gray haze softens the scene, dissolving boundaries and rendering presence slow and unstable. A faint line crosses the space without indicating direction. The work preserves an extended present—holding a state of being that lingers between approach, pause, and the yet-to-occur.

《和象 4》中，人与象并肩而立，却朝向同一片模糊而未被指认的空间。象体庞大而沉静，人的身体赤裸、瘦弱，却并未呈现依附或对抗的姿态。两者之间没有动作，也没有交流，关系停留在一种被延宕的并置之中。画面被灰雾覆盖，边界不断消散，使存在显得迟缓而不稳定。细微的线条横贯空间，却不指向方向。作品呈现的是一种被拉长的当下——在接近、停留与未发生之间，维持着一种难以命名的同在状态。
