GL – Johnson, Wayne – 2003

Gordon Lightfoot is a Canadian singer-songwriter of the highest caliber.

Born in Orillia, Ontario, Lightfoot had major success in the 60's and 70's with hits like "If You Could Read My Mind", "Sundown" and the epic poem "The Wreck Of the Edmond Fitzgerald".

Not only is he an interesting subject for a painting, but I also enjoy playing his music, which makes this work all the more special for me.
