Mirage over Euphrates - Chen, Susan

These images depicts the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, capturing the mythical, almost illusory quality of the gardens (“Mirage”), their connection to the Euphrates River, and the fantastical grandeur of this ancient wonder. They exhibit four parts of the garden at different time of the day: Grand Overview at Dawn, Terrace Close-Up at Midday, Waterfall and Irrigation at Dusk, Courtyard Garden at Night.
