Bio of the artist:

Shen Peng (September 1931 – August 21, 2023), style name Jieju, also known as Master of Jieju Studio, was a distinguished Chinese editor and publishing expert, calligrapher, art critic, and poet. A native of Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province, he served as Lifetime Honorary President of the China Calligraphers Association.

Shen Peng received early training in poetry, calligraphy, and painting. He later studied literature at university before turning his focus to journalism and publishing. Over the course of his career, he held key leadership roles within the China Calligraphers Association, including Standing Council Member, Vice President, and President. He was also appointed Honorary Art Advisor to Art China.

Renowned for his profound scholarship and refined aesthetic judgment, Shen Peng played a pivotal role in shaping modern Chinese calligraphy discourse, combining rigorous intellectual depth with expressive freedom in his artistic practice.

作者简介：沈鹏（1931年9月—2023年8月21日），斋名介居[1]，号介居主，男，江苏江阴人，中国现代编辑出版专家，书法家、美术评论家及诗人。中国书法家协会终身名誉主席。

幼习诗、书、画，入大学攻读文学，后转攻新闻。历任中国书法家协会常务理事、副主席、中国书法家协会主席、艺术品中国荣誉艺术顾问。
