Born in 1960, Wang Liming graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of Hebei Normal University in 1989. He is currently a professional painter at the Hebei Painting Academy, Vice Director of the Hebei Art Museum (Hebei Painting Academy), a member of the China Artists Association, and a National First-Class Artist. He also serves as President of the Zhongshan Academy of Painting and Calligraphy of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (Hebei Province), Vice President of the Hebei Research Society of Chinese Painting, and Vice President of the Hebei Chinese Painting Society. Wang is also a graduate supervisor at several universities, including Hebei University, Hebei University of Science and Technology, and Yanshan University.
His works have been selected for numerous national exhibitions, including the National Fine Arts Exhibition in Commemoration of the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China (First Prize, Hebei Provincial Exhibition) and the 1991 Invitational Exhibition of Figure Painting at the Chinese Painting Academy. His painting Seeking Dreams received the Outstanding Collection Award from the Hebei Painting Academy. Away from the Worldly Dust was selected for the Eighth National Fine Arts Exhibition and won First Prize at the Hebei Provincial Exhibition.

Wang Liming has participated in numerous art exhibitions and exchange projects, including Hebei Art in Beijing, Hebei Art in Shanghai, and Hebei Art in Hong Kong, as well as thirteen sessions of the large-scale Hebei Painting Academy Taixing Landscape Creation and Exhibition Project.
His solo and joint exhibitions have been held in Russia, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, and Taiwan, among other countries and regions.
Publications include: Album of Wang Liming’s Landscape and Bird-and-Flower Paintings, Chinese Ink Painter Wang Liming in the 21st Century, ABC of Chinese Painting, Collected Works of the Hebei Painting Academy – Wang Liming, and Private Chinese Painting Collections – Wang Liming Volume.
He currently focuses on the creation and research of Chinese landscape painting.
