Fan Zeng (born July 5, 1938), male, courtesy name Shiyi (十翼), also known by the studio name Baochong Zhai (抱冲斋主), is a contemporary Chinese painter, calligrapher, and scholar from Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China.

He currently serves as Lifetime Professor at Nankai University, Lifetime Research Fellow at the Chinese National Academy of Arts, and Honorary President of the Painting and Calligraphy Institute of the National Museum of China. He is also a Distinguished Member of the China Democratic League and a Special Advisor on Multiculturalism to UNESCO, among other appointments.

Fan Zeng’s art integrates landscape, bird-and-flower, and figure painting, and embodies the unity of poetry, calligraphy, and painting, exemplifying the traditional Chinese concept of the shared origin of poetry and painting. His major representative works include Song and Laughter of Lingyun, Carrying Wine on a Journey, The Seven Sages of the Bamboo Grove, and Guangling San.

In addition to his artistic practice, Fan Zeng is a prolific author, having published over 200 works, including Insights into Laozi and Zhuangzi and Methods of Chinese Painting.

范曾（1938年7月5日—），男，字十翼，别署抱冲斋主。江苏省南通市人，为中国当代书画家，学者。现任南开大学终身教授、中国艺术研究院终身研究员、中国国家博物馆书画院名誉院长，中国民主同盟杰出盟员、联合国教科文组织多元文化特别顾问等职。 ^[27] [120]范曾的绘画融山水、花鸟、人物于一体，集诗、书、画三绝于一身，诠释着诗画同源的奥妙。 ^[123]主要代表画作有《灵运歌啸图》《载酒行》《竹林七贤》《广陵散》等。除此之外，还出版《老庄心解》《中国画研究法》等200余部著作。
