任金昌，宇道远。祖籍河北，1946年生，少时师从牡丹名家江河先生学习写意花鸟。1961年参加工作，国内从事艺术工作数十年，先后在影剧院、剧团担任舞台美术师，国家三级美术师。多次参加省市级美展，曾分获二等奖、三等奖。2010年移民加拿大，目前为雁鸣美术馆签约画家、加拿大大西洋美协顾问、大西洋书协顾问。经常参与社会公益活动，书画作品被多家单位及个人收藏。

Ren Jinchang, pen name Daoyuan, was born in 1946 in Hebei. In his youth, he studied freehand flower-and-bird painting under renowned peony artist Mr. Jiang He. He began his career in 1961, working in stage design for theaters and drama troupes over decades. He earned the title of National Third-Class Artist and has participated in numerous provincial and municipal art exhibitions, where he won second and third prizes. In 2010, he immigrated to Canada and is currently a contracted artist with YM Art Gallery, an advisor to the Atlantic Canada Art Association and the Atlantic Calligraphy Association. He is also actively involved in social welfare activities. His calligraphy and painting works are collected by various organizations and individuals.

国子，字微之，号微之居士。国家一级美术师，跟金陵四老之一，著名画家李味青先生学习大写意花鸟画，奠定了对中国水墨画的认知。

国子在多年的画事中，体味到水的妙处。水是笔墨中的精灵，用的好、用的妙，浓淡干湿，精彩纷量。牧谿、徐渭、八大山人、齐白石都是用水的顶级高手。

国子一心从事大写意花鸟画的学习、研究与创作。广东著名画家，百岁老人谢广海先生，对国子作品《梅雀图》点评：这才是硬功夫。五雀布局自然生动，落笔精准干练，造型非常准确，笔到意到，梅一挥而就，以浓破淡，粉色梅朵显暖冬，雅之又雅。海上著名大家毛国伦先生，对国子作品《梅兰竹菊》点评：清新雅致。

Guo Zi, courtesy name Weizhi, is a national first-class artist who studied large-scale freehand bird and flower painting with the renowned Li Weiqing. Guo Zi’s expertise lies in his masterful use of water in ink painting, inspired by masters like Mu Xi, Xu Wei, Bada Shanren, and Qi Baishi. His dedication to the study, research, and creation of these paintings has earned high praise from notable artists such as Xie Guanghai and Mao Guolun for their natural, lively compositions and elegant style.
